Alex State can vividly remember when his tinnitus began to take over his life. In August 2015, he went on blood pressure medication. Then on September 6, 2015, he was overwhelmed by a ringing sound in his ears.
Impact Of Tinnitus On Alex

“I had heard my tinnitus before, after going to concerts and gun ranges, but it had always gone away,” Alex said. But after September 6th, “Living with my tinnitus was like being at a rock concert all the time. There was no escaping the sound.”
Tinnitus profoundly impacted Alex’s life. He was sleeping poorly and was usually only able to sleep two hours a night. His work began to suffer due to exhaustion and the inescapable ringing of his tinnitus. Beyond his working life, the strain of tinnitus extended to all other aspects of his life.
“I couldn’t enjoy anything,” he said, “I would put the TV on full blast and could barely hear it while my girlfriend would ask me to turn it down. We started watching everything with closed captions so I could follow along.”
Alex said his most significant loss was music. He loved to listen to music but with his tinnitus, he would have headphones on full volume and could still barely hear any music.
Alex’s Search For Tinnitus Solutions
Desperate to find something to alleviate his tinnitus, Alex started investigating any possible solutions. But part of the difficulty of experiencing tinnitus is that no one but the person experiencing the tinnitus can understand what it’s like to live with it.
“I went to so many doctors and tried everything I could find. Nothing, from the MRI I had to the hearing doctors I visited, could do anything,” Alex said. “I even tried random cured marketed by websites, dietary changes, and when nothing worked, the doctors said ‘learn to live with it’.”
Finding The Levo System
As Alex’s tinnitus was an extreme case and he had found no solutions, he was starting to lose hope that he would ever be able to get his tinnitus under control.
“It was impossible to do anything. The ringing was so loud I couldn’t talk to people, and I didn’t enjoy anything anymore,” Alex said. “I was getting ready to break up with my girlfriend because we just couldn’t enjoy anything together.” Then his dad found a video which talked about the Levo System.

The process to receive the Levo System was very easy, Alex said. He went into the sound booth, and Robyn began matching the sounds, frequency, and volume of his tinnitus. Alex said she made sure to find him the exact frequency and offered free reprogramming. Robyn also had Alex’s girlfriend sit inside the sound booth so she could see how overwhelming Alex’s tinnitus was for him. Once Alex was satisfied with his custom sound profile, Robyn ordered the Levo System for him.
“The very first night I used [the Levo System] I fell asleep right away. I hadn’t done that in years,” Alex said. Within two weeks, Alex was able to enjoy music again.
Alex’s Tinnitus Today
After using the Levo System for five months, the overwhelming tinnitus Alex used to experience is gone.
“I have to talk about or think about my tinnitus before I notice it,” Alex said. “It is absolutely amazing how different my life is now.”
He also no longer needs to use his Levo System every night. Nowadays, Alex uses it two times a week and occasionally forgets about it as his tinnitus continues to improve.
